About the couple

Michelle and Perry met in Mission Beach (a beach town in San Diego, California). One night Perry had a gathering of some friends at his beach house. One of the people who was there was his friend Katrina (who was also a very close friend of Michelle’s who she has known since Junior High School). Katrina knew that Michelle was also living near the boardwalk, literally just one street over, so she invited her to come by. That was the night Perry and Michelle first met. Not only were they neighbors, but it was a small miracle that they had not met before. They knew a lot of the same people and frequented many of the same places. (The week before, Perry was out with a group of friends that included one of Michelle’s roommates.)

Then a couple of weeks later Perry asked Michelle to celebrate Valentine’s Day with him. They joined Perry’s best friend, Reza (the best man) and his girlfriend, at that time, on a beautiful dinner and dancing cruise around the San Diego bay. Perry and Michelle have been together ever since! Perry and Michelle now live on Sunset Cliffs where they have a great view of the ocean. They have an adorable dog named Mango and an awesome turtle named Snapple. Perry owns a safety equipment company and Michelle is a special education teacher who works with second and third graders with learning disabilities.
