Perry and Michelle decided to take a much needed vacation to the Riviera Maya where they stayed at the beautiful Secrets Resort. On the final day of their trip Perry and Michelle decided to go on an “Extreme Mayan Adventure” which included a visit to the Mayan ruins at Tulum, then repelling & cave snorkeling inside a local Yucatan Senote, plus flying through the jungle on a zip line & more.
After their wild day in the Yucatan jungle, they relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the beautiful Riviera beaches. Perry had made arrangements with the staff at the Secrets Resort to ensure that everything surrounding his Proposal that evening would be extra special. To start off the evening Perry and Michelle enjoyed a delicious dinner on their own private balcony overflowing with rose petals, overlooking the surf & stars. Afterwards, they took advantage of the surreal setting by enjoying some champagne & a barefoot walk down the beach. The actual proposal went down back at their suite where the staff had created an idyllic setting with rose petals everywhere and swan decorations & of course, when Perry proposed, a stunned Michelle said YES! Although it had already been a thoroughly enjoyable (& exhausting) day they couldn’t resist slipping away to Playa Del Carmen, a local hot spot, with a vibrant night life. They chose one of the larger clubs with an international mix of partygoers and danced the night (and morning) away!
